ABOUT CHRIS NEDIMYER
Chris Nedimyer (b. 1988) began his musical training at the age of 5 at the piano which subsequently grew to encompass the majority of wind instruments before attending the Crane School of Music to study composition. During his studies, Chris primarily explored chamber music which heavily featured wind instruments and the piano. He has received multiple commissions from his peers and his music has been featured locally and internationally.

After finishing his studies in 2010, Chris decided to serve his community in a more direct manner by joining the US Navy. He earned his Naval Flight Officer wings of gold in 2012 and went on to serve as an F/A-18 Weapon Systems Officer before separating from the military at the end of 2020.

Chris now resides in Seattle, Washington where he is studying at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy and using his newfound free time to return to his first love; music. When he isn't studying or composing, he is either exploring the northwest, participating in community building with his rugby team, or buying more books that he will definitely, absolutely, probably read one day.
